Transportation organizations are facing new challenges in information management and regulatory compliance because of the implementation of the Homeland Security Act and the growing expectations of the public to access information important to their travel plans.

Designed to enhance the safety and security of transportation and highways, the Homeland Security Act increases and expands the information management responsibilities of transportation organizations, emphasizing the importance of efficient data collection, analysis, and dissemination.

CIBER’s transportation experts guide organizations through the selection, design and implementation of information technology tools that allow transportation agencies to harness the power of existing technology to better meet the regulatory requirements and the needs of the publics they serve.
